Cartizze DOCG “La Rivetta” — Villa Sandi

Cartizze is a rare anomaly in the world of Prosecco: just 106 hectares of steep vineyards between Santo Stefano and San Pietro di Barbozza, at the historic heart of Valdobbiadene. A true cru, born from a rare combination of mild microclimate and ancient soils of moraines, sandstone and clay — a terroir unmatched within the appellation.

La Rivetta is the parcel selected by Villa Sandi within this exceptional zone. Manual harvest in the second week of September, gentle pneumatic pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature. Brut, with 12 g/l residual sugar and a fresh acidity of 5.7 g/l.

In the glass: brilliant pale straw, fine and persistent perlage. A versatile sparkling wine, equally at home opening or closing a dinner — ideal with marinated fish, salmon tartare or lightly sweetened desserts.
